Dr. Ken Moore was born and raised in Perth, Western Australia. He received his veterinary degree (with first-class honors) from Murdoch University in Australia in 1994. Following graduation, he moved to the USA to complete the requirements to become a specialist in veterinary surgery. He completed his Small Animal Internship at Michigan State University in 1995-96, and his Small Animal Surgery Residency at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1997-2000. In 2001, he became a Board-Certified Small Animal Surgery by fulfilling all of the requirements of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons.
Dr. Moore has worked full-time in South Florida for the past 12 years. During that time, he has earned a reputation as being one of South Florida’s premier Veterinary Surgeons. He is proficient in all areas of orthopedic, soft tissue, oncologic, spinal, and emergency surgeries.
