Pet Laser Therapy
A non-invasive regenerative medicine treatment.
We offer veterinary laser therapy and shockwave therapy for pets. These therapies are non-invasive treatments used in pet rehabilitation to speed up the body’s natural healing process and relieve pain. These are great options for post-op pets, older pets, and pets living with chronic conditions like arthritis.
How does pet laser therapy work?
Laser therapy uses deep penetrating beams of light to alter cells and the tissue that surrounds them. When the light penetrates the body’s cellular components, it stimulates the targeted cells and promotes healing. Perhaps most importantly, laser therapy is entirely painless.
Whether your pet is struggling with post-surgical pain or they’re simply getting older, laser therapy can help them live their very best life. Treatments are relatively quick and can be easily integrated with medical procedures.
Laser therapy can help treat a number of chronic and acute conditions in pets including:
- Arthritis and inflammation
- Hip dysplasia and osteoarthritis
- Fractures, sprains, and strains
- Wound healing and post-surgical pain relief
Shockwave Therapy
Shockwave therapy is a non-invasive regenerative therapy that uses high-energy sound waves to promote healing and relieve pain. Shockwave therapy is typically done as 1-3 treatments spaced out about 3 weeks apart. This treatment is used to reduce inflammation, increase blood flow, and encourage bony healing. It is also easily integrated with medical procedures.
Indications for Shockwave Therapy:
- Tendon and/or ligament injuries
- Hip Dysplasia and Osteoarthritis
- Post-surgical healing to reduce inflammation and pain
- Wounds
- Lumbosacral disease
